Chandrshekhar Azad Park also known as Alfred Park and Company Garden is a Public Park in Allahabad. It was built in 1870 when Prince Alfred's visit to the City.It is lie in area of 133 acres and biggest park in Allahabad.It was renamed by the name of our freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad, Who sacrifice His life during the Indian Independence struggle in 1931.Originally and still famous the park is known as Alfred Park.

MIG 21 fighter aircraft of Indian Airforce was installed at the entrance of Chandrashekhar Park of the city.The fighter has outlived its operational life and has been installed at the park to motivate the youth to join IAF.
      
Another such fighter plane would soon be installed at another crossing of the city after the district administration would finalize the crossing or spot for the aircraft to be installed.

 A huge park sprawling on for about 3 KM the company bagh dates from the time of british raz, back wen it was known as Alfred Park. Today the park is the favorite place joggers and fitness freak from all over Allahabad.It is also Great place to visit for families in the evening.Its fountain Greenery and freshness give it soothing effect which is not easy to find in the busy street of Allahabad.

Large canopy made of Italian Limestone, dedicated to Queen Victoria. It was opened on 24th March 1906 by Sir James Latouche. The canopy once sheltered a huge Statue of Queen Victoria which was later remove. This monument has been declared as national importance under the ancient monument and Archeological sites and remain act 1958 as updated by the ancient monuments and Archeological sites and remain (Amendment and Validation )act,2010.

Further, under sub section 20(a) and 20(b)  of the ancient monuments and archeological sites and remains (Amendments and Validation)act 2010 read with Gazette notification S.NO. 1764 dated 16-6-92 issued under the sub rule 32 of the ancient monument and archeological sites,and remain rule 1959) areas up to 100 meter from the protected Limit and further beyond up to 200 meter near or adjoining the protected monuments have been declared to be prohibited and regulated areas , respectively, for the purpose of both, mining operation and construction. Any repair or renovation(only to the property which existed before 1992)in the prohibited area and any repair , addition or alteration and construction or reconstruction with in regulated area can be undertaken only with prior approval of the competent authority.
